We have had fun over the past eight years printing unique and unusual projects for RPS Events (formerly Royce’s Prop Shop). The most recent project was the most challenging yet, both in scope and timeline. Like any large job, there were issues to iron out, and working closely with the experienced RPS folks, we were able to provide what they needed, in time for them to take to a huge event in Miami. The project was a great test for the two brand new, state-of-the-art graphic display printers that we recently purchased. And we are happy to say that they performed up to and beyond expectations, printing large expanses of crisp, bold color.
The substrate used for the 32 elevator door panels was repositionable adhesive vinyl. For the sponsor counters (not shown) and the registration table, we printed to 6mm Sintra. From the photos you can see that all of the panels turned out beautifully, and the client was very satisfied.
A side note: unfortunately, during this same event in Miami, the main office and warehouse of RPS Events burned to the ground. Amazingly, despite this terrible loss, with great determination and many hours of hard work, RPS has moved forward and continue to fulfill all of their event deadlines.
