Kerbal Space Program & Airway Science for Kids

We recently had an opportunity to work on a project for Airway Science for Kids (ASK). Their goal is to make science and learning fun for the kids that do not typically have access or participate in STEAM education, such as kids of color, kids living on low-incomes, girls, and other kids who may face barriers.

ASK renovated their computer lab with a focus on the fun and interactive video game Kerbal Space Program. With permission from the game’s developers, we provided larger-than-life standups of Kerbals as well as keyboard stickers that were designed specifically for the game.

The Program Development Coordinator from ASK commented “We made a presentation to the development team of the game, and they absolutely loved how the keyboard stickers and character cutouts turned out”.
